M3

December 2024

We have been busy little elves in M3, and we cannot believe we have come to the end of our first term.

The pupils have been busy making and decorating lots of Christmas arts and crafts.  We loved all our sensory music, stories, TacPac and Sensology.  We have also had so much fun and excitement watching the Attention Autism activities.

The staff in M3 would like to wish you all a wonderful, happy, safe and enjoyable Christmas.

November 2024

M3 have been busy completing lots of sensory work and activities related to 5 rhymes for Nursery Rhyme Week.        We also started our topic 'materials' and did exploratory work on rough/smooth, hard/soft, shiny/dull and         transparent/opaque, to see if we had a preference for particular textures.  The boys and girls also enjoyed the story of The 3 Little Pigs to enhance the topic.  We have also enjoyed lots of art, cookery, attention autism, sensology, music and messy play.

We were very excited to put our Christmas tree and decorations up in the classroom, and are so excited for all the Christmas activities coming up!

October 2024

In October the pupils in M3 completed their seasonal work on Autumn and then participated in lots of Halloween activities.  They enjoyed sensory play, art, stories, music, and attention autism sessions.  We also loved the pumpkin patch and parade.

September 2024

M3 pupils all settled back into school life so well in September.  They are enjoying exploring their new room and meeting their new staff and friends.  We have enjoyed lots of sensory exploration through art, music, and cookery.  We have used our senses for Sensology, TacPac and sensory stories.  We have been experiencing Autumn in our sensory trays,  through Attention Autism activities and walks around the school grounds.  The pupils have been outside in the sensory garden and play park enjoying the last of the good weather.
