November 2025 Update
M3’s November Sparkle!
November has been packed with fun, learning, and creativity in M3!
We started the month with a bang—exploring the story of Guy Fawkes, making our own fireworks, and creating a dazzling display on the Interactive Whiteboard. Through Activity-Based Learning, we matched numbered fireworks and practiced writing letters in sensory trays. And the sweetest part? A delicious Bonfire Chocolate Cake that everyone loved!
Our adventures continued with a fantastic Outdoor Learning Day, inspired by two amazing books—The Leaf Man and The Leaf Thief. We made beautiful leaf prints with paper and crayons, crafted our own Leaf Man from sticks and leaves, and even created funny faces using conkers, leaves, and twigs. It was a day full of imagination and fresh air!
Next came Nursery Rhyme Week and Anti-Bullying Week. Our favorite rhyme was Humpty Dumpty—we built him walls, put him back together, and designed creative art showing what Humpty Dumpty could look like in different styles! We also made tasty chocolate bird nests for Two Little Dickie Birds. For Anti-Bullying Week, we focused on kindness and friendship by creating thoughtful cards for everyone in Middle School and making colorful friendship bracelets for our class.
We ended that week in style by dressing up in our onesies and PJs for Children in Need—a relaxing and comfy day that everyone enjoyed!
Then we stepped into Road Safety Week, learning the Green Cross Code, making traffic lights, and using our Interactive Whiteboard to help people cross the road safely and ensure cars stopped at the red light. We even counted the traffic passing our school—it was a lot! To make it extra fun, we created traffic light fruit skewers with strawberries, grapes, and bananas—delicious!
Finally, we explored People Who Help Us, learning about the important roles in our community. Some of us want to be firefighters, some doctors, and even some teachers!
It’s been a busy, brilliant November—and now we’re ready for the glitter, the red and green paint, and the Christmas tunes. Bring on December!
October 2025 Update
We Did the Monster Mash!
What a spooktacular October it’s been for M3! Our themed Activity-Based Learning sessions were a huge hit — from exploring colorful Autumn leaves and pumpkin investigations to celebrating the Harvest season, we’ve been busy learning, laughing, and creating!
Our creativity has been in full swing — we’ve made pumpkin sun catchers, skeleton art with cotton buds, apple prints, leaf and harvest wreaths, and Halloween collages that would make any ghoul proud.
The excitement didn’t stop there! During our Attention Autism sessions, we even made fizz come out of a pumpkin’s mouth (science meets spooky fun!). Add in some teamwork on the interactive whiteboard, a few fancy-dress moments, and lots of dancing, and you’ve got one fang-tastic October to remember!
September 2025 Update
M3 have had a fantastic start back at school. We have really enjoyed meeting new friends and new staff and getting back into the swing of things! We have loved our Activity Based Learning sessions, Attention Autism, making play dough and cooking up some delicious treats based on our topic of All About Me! With the sunshine on our side, we’ve made the most of the outdoors—visiting the park and spending time in the sensory garden whenever we can. We’re all looking forward to October and can’t wait to see what spooky surprises our staff have planned!
