'Settling in September' for J7

We have had a busy few weeks in J7. The pupils have all adapted well to their new classroom and developing friendships and bonds with their classmates and staff.

Through our assessments we have revisited skills the pupils focused on last year, introducing new approaches to teaching and determining the pupils preferred approach to learning. We have enjoyed lots of messy play activities, Attention Autism sessions, Cookery, Circle Time, Art & Drama and consolidated our numeracy and literacy skills through new Activity Based Learning play stations. Outdoor play experiences in our new play park and sensory garden have proven very beneficial and the pupils love being outdoors and having fun.

We are all enthused and looking forward to a fun, successful year in J7.
