February 2024

February has been a busy month in Class 1. We have celebrated events such as Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day and Pancake Tuesday. We've also started looking at our new topic, 'On My Street', and have spent some time learning about different types of transport and People Who Help Us.

January 2024

In January we spent some time settling back into school after the Christmas holidays and explored all things winter. We looked at winter clothes, winter weather, and arctic animals. We've had fun with activities such as sensory play, art and attention autism as well as working hard with numeracy and literacy.

December 2023

In December we got fully into the Christmas swing. We practiced lots for our Christmas show and enjoyed performing for all the families. We got invited to Bridge to see their Nativity and enjoyed a trip out of school on the bus for the first time. We've had lots of Christmas art, cookery, play, and activities and have found some time to learn all about the Nativity. We've been so busy and are excited for our Christmas holidays.

November 2023

November was all about Fairytales. Throughout the month we looked at The Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Little Red Riding Hood and Jack and the Beanstalk. We also took part in Friendship Friday as part of Anti-Bullying Week. Towards the end of the month we started our preparations for Christmas, practicing for the Christmas show and decorating baubles for the Christmas tree. We're excited to get into the full swing of festivities in December.

October 2023

Throughout October Class 1 have enjoyed learning all about Autumn as well as exploring themes such as transport for Numeracy Week and Halloween. We've been busy with cookery, Attention Autism, play based learning, PE and tabletop work. It's been a very busy few weeks for us all.
